UPCOMING EVENTS

5/20                                              2nd grade to ALPS (WEATHER PERMITTING)

                                                     *Last I checked 10% chance of rain and 71~, so we

                                                      will keep our fingers crossed!*

                                                      We will leave at approx. 9:30, head to ALHS for

                                                      the music concert and then on to ALPS and

                                                      return to Erieview 2ish...

Mrs. Walker would like to inform you that on Monday, May 20^th, all 2^nd grade music students in Avon Lake will be attending a mini-concert presented by the ALHS Band and Orchestra as the culmination of our unit on instrument families.  We will get to hear a live concert and see what we’ve learned in action!  Students do not need any special attire that day for the concert.  Any parent who would like to hear the concert is welcome to meet us at the ALHS PAC that morning.  The concert begins at 9:30am and will last about 40 minutes, at which time, students will walk to ALPS.

                                     May 29th is field day, for 2nd grade it has been traditionally in the

                                     morning. (wear your green tye dye shirt)

                                     May 31st is the ZOO TRIP , all are welcome and thanx for returning

                                     your $6.00 and permission slips, just a few more to go! We will

                                     have room for 2 parents on the bus, and the rest can either follow

                                     or meet us at the zoo, where I will assign groups.

                                     I will have 5 (hopefully) head chaperones and the rest can just

                                     enjoy the zoo with the kids. AGAIN, if clean, wear your green tye dye

                                     shirt.

So far many materials have been brought in.

We still need long twizzlers,

graham crackers, and frosting.

Also with all the work we've been doing

on the bio's we have not done Math.

Sooo, what I entered last week for Math
